Paul Sanger top scored for Frome with 44, whilst Mark took 4 wickets to thwart Glastonbury's run chase to hand Frome a 50 run win.

Skipper Mark Sanger won the toss, and he chose to bat first. The hosts then started off brightly as Alex Bleakley (28) and Dave Dredge (16) were scoring well. They both fell off of the bowling of Chris Herbert with Bleakley caught and the latter given out leg before. Charlie Smith only had a brief stay at the crease when he picked out long-off to depart for 1. However, Paul Sanger and Dan Dredge (27) steadied Frome's innings- and two sixes in three balls from Dredge got the innings motoring. After Dredge was caught though, Eddy Neal was able to launch another maximum towards the pavilion. Wickets did begin to fall towards the end of the innings however. Neal was bowled for 8, before Sanger was eventually out for a valuable 44. In the last over, Mark Sanger was bowled first ball, which gave Dan Williams his third wicket. Joe Smart was run out off of the final delivery for 6, and this meant that Frome concluded their 20 overs on 146-8.

In response, the Frome opening bowlers Sam Wheeler and Eddy Neal were terrific at keeping the runs at a minimum. Wheeler had the first wicket as he bowled Will Mason for 0. Neal then had Callum Hotham (19) bowled and when Smart caught Herbert for 1 off Wheeler- Frome were in the ascendancy. Although Dave Dredge was hit for 23 runs off 2 overs, Mark Sanger bowled 4-10 at the other end to rip through the Glastonbury middle order- claiming top scorer Jon Stratton (26) amongst them. Alex Bleakley got the final wicket of the match when he bowled Stephen Keates for 3 with the first ball of the seventeenth over to claim a hat-trick after his last two balls of the previous over were a caught and bowled and one caught by Neal. This meant that Glastonbury were all out on 96 from 16.1 overs.

Frome gained victory by 50 runs and progression to the next round was assured- where they host Keynsham at Fromefield.
