Frome Sunday XI secured their first playing victory of the season in a 25 over match against Bath at Fromefield.
All the batsmen scored runs as Ryan Gullock (26), skipper Sam Croker (44), Reece Croker (95) and Joe Smart (20) ensured that the hosts amassed a large total.
Jim Unwin finished not out on 30 along with Naveed Asim (4 not out) as Frome Sunday XI made 232-4 from their 25 overs.
In response, Ethan Cox bowled really well up top to take two impressive scalps- particularly bowling the very talented Alain Hewitt for 30 pegged the visitors back. Along with a LBW- Cox finished with smart figures of 2-12 from his five overs.
First team captain Mark Sanger also claimed a scalp in bowling a wicket-maiden, but the match fizzled out in Frome's favour- despite a very good knock of 84 not out from Charlie Brain.
The visitors finished on 164-3 from their 25 overs. This gave the Showmen of Fromefield victory by 68 runs.
